Understanding how stock sync works between Mintsoft and Delta WMS is essential for diagnosing stock discrepancies correctly. The sync direction and error visibility differ significantly from other Mintsoft integrations, and troubleshooting in the wrong direction is a common source of confusion. This article explains how the sync works, what to check when stock levels are not updating, and what the full stock sync option does. You will need access to your Delta integration account settings.
How stock sync works between Delta WMS and Mintsoft
Stock sync with Delta WMS runs in the opposite direction to most other Mintsoft integrations. Delta WMS is the authoritative source of stock — it pushes stock levels into Mintsoft, not the other way around.
Important: Delta WMS updates Mintsoft stock levels. Mintsoft does not send stock to Delta. If you are investigating why stock is not updating in Delta, this is not controlled by the Mintsoft connector — investigate within Delta WMS directly.
The connector reads stock levels from a Delta SQL view and updates Mintsoft at the warehouse level. Stock is matched by SKU and applied to the warehouse configured in your Delta integration account. There is no location-level matching within the connector — stock is set at the warehouse level only.
Stock sync only runs for Delta integration accounts that are Active and have Import Stock Levels turned on.
UnableToSyncStock errors and Delta WMS
The UnableToSyncStock error shown in Mintsoft's import error log is not raised by the Delta WMS connector. This error is generated by other integrations (such as Etsy, TikTok, and Unleashed) and is unrelated to Delta. If you are seeing this error, it is coming from a different connected integration.
Delta stock sync errors are not shown anywhere on the Access Delta screens. If you suspect a Delta stock sync failure and the Last Stock Sync timestamp is stale, contact your system administrator — they can check the connector service logs on the connector host.
Note: If the Delta SQL view returns no stock records for your client and warehouse, the connector logs an informational message and does not raise an error. This can make it difficult to detect a stock sync that has silently stopped producing data.
Check that stock sync is enabled and running
The best in-app indicator of whether the connector is running is the Last Stock Sync timestamp on your Delta integration account. A stale timestamp — one that has not updated for longer than your expected sync interval — indicates the connector may have stopped or encountered a connection issue.
Click Connect then Warehousing Integrations.
Click Access Delta and find your integration account.
Check the Last Stock Sync timestamp.
If the timestamp is stale, check that the connector service is running on the connector host machine.
Also check that Import Stock Levels is turned on and the account is set to Active.
Click Save if you make any changes.
Note: Checking the Last ASN Sync and Last Product Sync timestamps alongside Last Stock Sync is useful. If all three are stale, the connector service itself has likely stopped. If only Last Stock Sync is stale, the issue may be specific to the stock sync configuration or the Delta SQL view.
Troubleshoot stock not updating in Mintsoft
If Mintsoft stock levels are not reflecting what is in Delta WMS, work through the following checks.
Check SKU matching
Stock is matched between Delta and Mintsoft by SKU (product code). If the SKU in Delta does not match the SKU in Mintsoft exactly, that product's stock will not update. Check for:
Leading or trailing spaces in the SKU in either system.
Differences in capitalisation — SKU matching is case-sensitive.
Any characters that differ between the two systems.
Check the integration account scope
Each Delta integration account is scoped to a specific client and warehouse. Stock is only synced for the client code and warehouse code configured on the account. If a product belongs to a different client or is in a different warehouse, it will not be included in the sync.
Click Connect then Warehousing Integrations.
Click Access Delta and find your integration account.
Confirm the Client and Warehouse match the product you are investigating.
Use the full stock sync option
The full stock sync option forces the connector to pull the entire stock history from Delta on the next scheduled sync run, rather than only recently changed rows. It does this by resetting the sync watermark date — it does not immediately push or recalculate stock. The update will appear in Mintsoft after the next connector poll runs.
Click Connect then Warehousing Integrations.
Click Access Delta and find your integration account.
Click Full Stock Sync on the account row, or click Full Stock Sync at the top of the page to queue all accounts.
Wait for the next connector poll to complete.
Check the Last Stock Sync timestamp to confirm the sync has run.
Note: The full stock sync option does not produce an immediate result — it queues a broader pull for the next scheduled run. If the Last Stock Sync timestamp does not update after a reasonable period, the connector service may not be running.
