The following information applies to the Delta integration with Mintsoft.
Delta Integration Features
The Delta integration on Mintsoft supports the following features:
Order Export
ASN Export
Despatch Updates (Imported from Delta)
Stock Sync
Prerequisites
Installing Delta
Before you can add your Delta account on Mintsoft, you first must have Delta installed on your PC by a Delta consultant. To learn more about this, please speak to your Account Manager about getting Delta added to your business.
Delta Account Code
Additionally, please ensure the Mintsoft Client Code field matches the Delta Account Code field. If this is incorrect the Delta integration will not work successfully.
Adding a Delta account
Once Delta has been installed, the next step is to add/ configure your Delta set-up on Mintsoft. To do this, please follow the steps below:
Within Mintsoft click Connect then Warehouse Integrations.
Next, click Access Delta then Add Account.
(3PL Only) Set the Client or leave as ALL.
Select the Warehouse.
Then configure the connection with the following options -
Export Orders: This exports orders from Mintsoft to Delta. To be eligible, an order must be in New or Printed status and have a courier service assigned. Orders that do not meet these conditions are skipped without an error message and retried at the next connector poll.
Export ASNs: This will export ASNs to Delta for completion.
Import Despatch Updates: This will import despatch updates into Mintsoft for orders exported to Delta.
Import Stock Levels: This imports stock levels from Delta WMS into Mintsoft. Delta WMS is the authoritative stock source, it pushes updates into Mintsoft, not the other way around.
Active: Turn this ON when ready.
Link Products To Client On Export: This will link the products to clients in Delta when syncing/ exporting.
Then, set the date as today for Last Stock Sync, Last Product Sync, Last ASN Sync.
Enter the Connector Version.
Finally, click Add.
Monitor connector health
There is no active connection indicator on the Access Delta screens. The best way to check whether the connector is running is to review the Last Stock Sync, Last Product Sync, and Last ASN Sync timestamps on the account list.
If all three timestamps are stale, the connector service itself has likely stopped â contact your system administrator.
If only one timestamp is stale, the issue may be specific to that sync type. Check the relevant toggle (Import Stock Levels, Export ASNs) is turned on and the account is Active.
The Connector Version column shows which version of the connector is talking to this account.
Delta stock sync issues
Note: The error shown below ('Unable to Adjust StockLevel') is a genuine Delta stock adjustment error and does appear in Mintsoft's Import Errors screen. This is separate from the 'UnableToSyncStock' error, which is not raised by the Delta connector and does not indicate a Delta problem.
Delta requests Mintsoft's current stock level for the products. Delta then determines how much stock to deduct for example:
SKU A
Mintsoft Stock: 10
Delta Stock: 5
Delta will ask Mintsoft to deduct 5 units from their stock to match what is in Delta.
If there is a mismatch an error (Unable to Adjust StockLevel to Quantity (x) : An Error Occurred when Updating Inventory Message: [MS]There is not enough stock available to remove in this location. Please check that the stock is not allocated to orders & that the location ID is correct) might advise that Delta cannot update the figure. If this happens, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Click Connect then Import Errors.
Check the Import Error to see which Product SKU is affected.
Click Products then Overview.
Search for the affected product.
Click Actions then Manage Inventory.
Click the Order Allocations tab.
Unallocate the stock of that product from any order
Go back to Connect then Import Errors.
Tick the Import Error and click Resolve from the Bulk Actions drop-down.
Click Connect then Warehousing Integrations.
Next, Click Access Delta.
Finally, click Full Stock Sync against the affected connection.
Additionally, please ensure the Mintsoft Client Code field matches the Delta Account Code field. If this is incorrect the Delta integration will not work successfully.
