We have enhanced box packing functionality to enable you to place items in particular boxes and manage the parcels dimensions when using Barcode Verification.
This new Box Packing Screen can be enabled via a Customer Account Setting.
To enable this please follow the below steps:
Go to Settings
Select Customer Account Settings
Navigate to the Picking tab
Enable "Use New Box Packing Screen"
Click Save
Once Enabled you can begin to use this functionality.
Using the Box Packing Feature
The feature shows within the Barcode Verification Page.
Dimensions- You can select Custom dimensions or a Shipping Box Rework Item with stored dimensions.
Calc Weight- This method auto calculates the weight of the box.
Override- This allows you to select the weight you want to use.
You can also easily scan Rework boxes into the product barcode field to add a new box.
Once verified the Box can also be viewed at the bottom of the Scan Actions page, under Shipping Boxes. If required you are also able to edit the Box within this page.
