Overview
The Scan Actions page is your final packing screen in Mintsoft before dispatching orders. This page allows you to complete key tasks including marking orders as dispatched, printing documentation, generating shipments, and managing parcel information.
Navigating to the Scan Actions page
There are two ways to navigate to the Scan Actions page.
Method 1: Orders Overview
To access the Scan Actions page from the Orders Overview page:
Click Orders then click Overview.
Find the order.
Click Actions then click Pick Order.
Method 2: Picking & Packing
To access the Scan Actions page from the Picking & Packing page:
Click Picking & Packing then click Order Pick & Pack.
Scan the Order Barcode or Order Number.
What you can do on the Scan Actions page
The Scan Actions page allows you to:
Mark the order as despatched or packed.
Print the despatch note and box packing list.
Rescan barcoded items.
Edit the items on the order.
Validate the order address.
Edit the order address.
Generate a shipment.
Change the courier service.
Add rework items.
Increase or decrease the number of parcels.
Update the parcel weight.
Add or update delivery instructions and order comments.
Add or update the tracking number.
Request further order documents.
Raise order queries.
Tip: Increasing the number of parcels will also increase the number of shipping labels printed.
Note: Tracking numbers are automatically added when the shipment is generated if it's a tracked service.
Automatically generating shipments
You can enable a setting to automatically retrieve the courier shipment for an order without having to click Create Shipment on the Scan Actions page. For more information, please review our Auto Request Courier Label help guide.
Platform availability
The Scan Actions page is only available on the web-based version of Mintsoft. It's not available on the Mobile App.
Printing shipping labels
Shipping labels are generated one per parcel. The number of shipping labels printed depends on the number of parcels on the order.
