Note: ReBin Picking is a paid module, please discuss this with your Account Manager to learn more.
The ReBin Picking module is a three-stage picking workflow designed for high volume multi-item orders. The benefit of this method is that you can pick mixed orders in bulk and then follow a process to separate them before they reach the packing station, using a ReBin wall (or similar setup). It optimizes the picking process by separating it into distinct phases:
Initial Picking - pickers collect mixed products from a batch into totes
Tote Consolidation - totes are received into buffer (holding) locations
ReBin Sorting - products are sorted from mixed totes into individual order-specific slots, ready for packing
Efficiency gains can be increased further for larger operations using the option to split larger batches into sub batches by zones in your warehouse and picked separately by dedicated zone pickers.
Important: Before continuing, please ensure you have setup ReBin Picking.
Prerequisite - Setting a Zone
Warning: If 'ReBin Picking - Split By Zone' is enabled within Customer Account Settings, you must set a zone on the app to proceed with picking. The app setting will not show if not in use.
Within the Access Mintsoft app press the three lines in the top left corner.
Then select General Settings.
Within the Rebin Picking section, select the Warehouse Zone.
If this is set to ALL, sub-batches will not show.

Initial Picking
Initial Picking
To perform initial picking, please do the following:
Tap Initial Picking on the ReBin Picking menu.
Scan or tap a sub-batch barcode from the list.
The sub-batch is automatically assigned to you.
You will only see sub batches for your zone, if you have used the zone setting on the scanner, please review the Access Mintsoft app - Setting a Zone section to learn more.
If zone-based picking is enabled, you'll only see sub-batches for your zone.
Scan a tote barcode to use for this sub-batch.
The system validates against the tote prefix (if configured).
For each product:
Scan the product barcode.
Confirm the quantity picked.
Place the product in the assigned tote.
You can skip products if they're unavailable.
When all products are picked, the app marks the sub-batch as complete.
The tote moves to the consolidation stage.
Tote Consolidation
Tote Consolidation
To consolidate totes into buffer locations, please do the following:
Tap Tote Consolidation on the ReBin Picking menu.
Scan or tap a tote barcode from the list of totes awaiting consolidation.
Scan a buffer location barcode when prompted.
This is a temporary holding area for the tote before final sorting.
The tote is marked as checked into the buffer location and is now ready for Rebin Sorting.
Repeat for all totes awaiting consolidation.
Rebin Sorting
Rebin Sorting
To sort products from totes into final order slots, please do the following:
Tap Rebin Sorting on the ReBin Picking menu.
Scan or tap a batch from the list.
Scan the tote barcode containing products to sort.
For each product:
Scan the product barcode.
First time a product is scanned for an order: Scan an unused slot barcode where this product and future products for this order should be placed.
The system validates against the slot prefix (if configured).
The slot is remembered for all products in this order.
Subsequent times a product is scanned for an order: User is prompted which slot barcode to scan to add this product to the existing order.
Place the product in the assigned slot.
Use the tabs to track progress:
To Rebin - Products still needing to be sorted.
Rebinned - Products successfully sorted with their assignments.
When an order has been completely added to a slot, the user is prompted to push the slot to the other side of the rebin wall (or move to a packing area) for a packer to collect and process via the PC packing flow, or via the mobile single order packing flow.
When all products are rebinned, mark the batch as complete.
Orders are now ready for packing from their assigned slots.
Packing

On Mintsoft Web (om.mintsoft.co.uk), click Picking & Packing then Order Pick & Pack.
Click Tote Barcode (can be defaulted in user settings) and scan the tote with a USB barcode reader
Pack the order as normal (as with other methods) and use automations where possible for faster label printing.
