Before picking a group of orders on the Access Mintsoft App, a Batch must be created and a picking type assigned. In this help guide we will cover the Multi Tote picking method on the Access Mintsoft app. This pick method allows you to pick a large order into multiple tote bins.
Multi-Tote
To pick a batch using the Multi Tote picking method on the Access Mintsoft app, please follow the steps below:
Within the Access Mintsoft app select Batch Picking.
Scan or select the Batch then select Confirm.
Next, scan the Product Barcode.
Scan or Input the Tote ID used.
Repeat Steps 3-4 for additional products until all items are picked for the first order.
Once all items are picked for the first order, you will start scanning the items for the next order.
The first Product you scan for the next order will require a new Tote ID to be used.
Scan the Product Barcode.
It will show which Location to pick the item from.
Scan or Input the Tote ID used.
Repeat Steps 8-9 for additional products until all items are picked.
Once complete, the batch will show under the Picked tab on Batch Picking screen.
Next, back on Mintsoft Web (om.mintsoft.co.uk), click Picking & Packing then Order Pick & Pack.
Click Tote Barcode (can be defaulted in user settings) and scan the tote with a USB barcode reader
Skipped Orders
If this Customer Account Setting is enabled: Multi Tote - Move Skipped Orders to New Totes After Picking. This allows mobile app users to reassign skipped orders to a new tote after picking is complete in the Multi Tote picking workflow.
You would process a normal Multi Tote batch, if any items were skipped a popup will appear at the end.
It will show a Warning to say 'This Order has skipped items, move items to a new tote' :
Scan the Existing Tote.
Then scan a New Tote, it then moves the skipped order to the New Tote.
