You can pick batches of orders on the Access Mintsoft mobile app using either the bulk pick or bulk paperless pick method. This guide explains how to use both methods to pick items, verify products, and prepare orders for packing and dispatch.
Important: Before you can pick orders on the app, you must create a batch and assign a picking type. To learn how to configure batch picking, read the Batch picking configuration and setup article.
To learn how to pick a batch using a different pick method, please review the articles below:
Bulk Paperless Pick
Use the bulk paperless pick method when you have totes or trolleys with barcodes. This method doesn't require printed picking documents.
Within the Access Mintsoft app select Batch Picking.
Scan or select the Batch then select Confirm.
Scan or Input the Tote ID used.
Next, scan the Product Barcode.
It will show which Location to pick the item from.
Then, confirm the Quantity to pick.
Then select Confirm Pick.
Repeat Steps 4-6 for additional products until all items are picked.
The order will show under the Picked tab and is ready to be packed and dispatched.
On the PC head to Picking & Packing > Batch Pick & Pack.
Make sure Tote Barcode is selected (can be defaulted in User Settings) and scan the tote with a USB scanner.
You will be taken to a screen where you can scan the barcode of any item in the batch. This will verify the item and take you to the first available order in the batch containing that item.
If required, you will see the Barcode Verification screen to verify any additional items for that order. This is what will guide you through separating the mixed items, order by order.
Once all items are verified for an order you will see the Scan Actions page where you can modify the shipping if required, print a label and despatch the order.
Repeat steps 11-13 until all orders in the batch are complete and you will get a pop up to confirm the batch is finished.
Bulk Pick
Use the bulk pick method when you don't have barcoded totes or trolleys. This method requires you to print the batch picking summary document.
Print the batch picking summary
Before you start picking on the app, print the batch picking summary document from within the batch on your computer. This document must stay with the batch throughout its journey as it has a barcode to identify it.
Tip: If you have totes or trolleys with barcodes, you can use the bulk paperless method instead.

Select the filter icon in the top-right corner.
Choose your filter options.
Your selected filters will be visible when you're searching for orders.
Search
When you're viewing orders or batches on the Access Mintsoft app:
Select the magnifying glass icon.
Search by order number or scan the order barcode.
Use the status tabs
The batch picking screen has three tabs to help you track order status:
New: Contains all orders waiting to be picked.
Paused: Shows orders that you've started but haven't finished picking yet.
Picked: Shows orders that you've picked but haven't dispatched yet.
Access the options menu
When you're on the product picking screen, you can select the three dots to open the options menu.
The options menu lets you:
Skip product: Prevent the product from being picked and move on to the next item.
Pause pick: Pause the picking of the order and return to the main menu.
Resolve skipped items
Once you've skipped an item, you can either cancel the order, or you can mark the order as picked if you want to ship the order without the skipped items.
Note: If you've enabled double barcode verification and all items are verified successfully during the packing stage, the system will automatically change the order status to picked without any manual action.
Mark an order as picked
Important: You need the MarkPicked role within the Picking-Super group to mark orders as picked.
You can mark orders as picked using the Mark Picked option from either:
The orders overview screen via the bulk action.
The scan actions screen.
Flag locations
When you flag a location, the system sends a notification to warehouse administrators with the location ID and the user who flagged it.
Example notification:
Location ID: 12345 (name) was flagged when picking by [[email protected]]. Please investigate.
