Before picking a group of orders on the Access Mintsoft App, a Batch must be created and a picking type assigned. In this help guide we will cover the Multi Order Multi Tote picking method on the Access Mintsoft app.

The Multi Order Multi Tote pick method combines the efficiency of multi-tote and bulk picking, making it ideal for high-volume, multi-item order fulfilment. This method allows pickers to use trolleys with multiple totes, where each tote can contain items from different orders rather than being restricted to single orders.

The key benefit is improved packing efficiency - when items reach the pack station, the system displays exactly which tote contains each item, eliminating the need to search through large containers. This targeted approach significantly reduces packing time compared to traditional bulk methods.

Important: To use this method, you must set up totes as locations and assign them the tote location type. This allows stock to be moved automatically as soon as you scan the tote.
