Mintsoft offers various stock reporting features to help users manage inventory effectively. This article explains how the system handles zero stock products in reports and interprets back-order data.

Products in Locations Report

The Products in Locations report in Mintsoft is designed to display only the current stock at specific locations. If a product has zero stock, it will not appear in this report. This behavior ensures that the report focuses on locations with actual stock levels.

Reporting on stock with no stock on hand

If you need visibility of products with zero stock, Mintsoft provides an alternative with the Inventory Report. Enable the Display Zero On Hand only toggle to view products with no stock on hand.

Back Order SKUs Report

In the Back Order SKUs report, the 'QTY Required' field may sometimes show a value of 0. This indicates that all back orders for the SKU have been fulfilled, and there are no outstanding back orders at the moment.

Is this a problem?

No, this is the expected behaviour unless there is a known discrepancy, such as previously corrected figures. The report reflects real-time updates and provides clarity on the status of back orders, ensuring that users can monitor stock requirements effectively.

Alternate Solutions and Troubleshooting

  • Use the Inventory Report for comprehensive stock visibility, including zero-stock products.

  • Regularly check reports like the Back Order SKUs to ensure data reflects current stock levels and requirements.

By understanding how these reports function, you can leverage Mintsoft's reporting features for accurate and efficient stock management. For further assistance, Mintsoft's support team is available to address specific concerns.
