Cartons and Pallets - Printing Labels

Steps to print carton and pallet labels in Mintsoft.

You can generate and print labels for cartons and pallets on demand from either the Extras page or the Overview page. The system supports multiple label formats including GS1 labels, standard labels, and shipping labels. You can print labels for individual cartons and pallets or in bulk.

This article explains:

  • Printing labels from the Extras page.

  • Printing labels from the Overview page.

  • Label formats available.


1. Print labels from the Extras page

To print carton or pallet labels from the Extras page, follow these steps:

  1. Click Cartons & Pallets, then click Extras.

  2. Click Generate Carton/Pallet Labels.

  3. Enter or paste the carton or pallet codes.

  4. Select the corresponding Type for the codes you entered.

  5. Set how many Labels per ID.

  6. Select the Format to print.

  7. Click Generate.

  8. Repeat steps 3-7 for the other type if needed.

Important: You can only print one type (carton or pallet) at a time.


2. Print labels from the Overview page

To print carton or pallet labels from the Overview page, follow these steps:

  1. Click Cartons & Pallets, then click Overview.

  2. Select the checkboxes for the cartons or pallets you want labels for.

  3. Select PrintLabels from the Bulk Actions drop-down, then click Go.

  4. Set how many Labels per ID.

  5. Select the Format to print.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Repeat steps 2-6 for the other type if needed.

Important: You can only print one type (carton or pallet) at a time.

Tip: The labels will be sent to your Print Tool service.


3. Label formats

When printing labels, you can select from multiple formats including:

  • GS1 labels - For GS1-compliant tracking with SSCC numbers

  • Standard labels - For internal carton and pallet identification

  • Shipping labels - For logistics and dispatch

Note: To use GS1 labels with SSCC numbers, you must first configure GS1 and SSCC settings. For more information, review our Cartons and Pallets - Setup and Overview help guide.
