Error: 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
If you are having issues logging into Access Evo due to the error shown above, there are several potential causes and solutions to consider:
Scenario 1: Duplicate Email Addresses in Mintsoft
Check to see if you are using the same email address multiple times in Mintsoft. If you are, you will need to amend the emails to make them unique. This should then allow you to log in without any issues and should resolve the error.
Scenario 2: Username Change in Evo/Access Envo
If the error occurred after a username change, follow these steps:
Go to the Evo login page.
Enter the email address intended for the account.
Open the password section and click Forgotten password.
Complete the password reset process using the email received.
Once logged in, update the corresponding Mintsoft user credentials to ensure synchronization between systems. If neither of these solutions works, please speak with the Mintsoft support team or raise a support ticket.
Preventative Measures
Always document user roles and permissions before making changes to access or credentials.
Use role templates to streamline the reassignment process.
Communicate changes to users in advance to minimize disruptions. By following these steps, you can effectively resolve access issues and maintain seamless operations in Mintsoft.
Restoring Access After Role Removal or Reassignment
When Mintsoft access is removed and re-added, or a username is changed in Access Workspace, all roles for the user in Mintsoft may be cleared, including the role required to access the User Settings page. To restore access:
Navigate to Warehouse then User Accounts.
Click Actions next to the affected user.
Select User Roles and reassign roles either manually or using a saved template.
Ensure the Admin-UserManagement then Admin-UserManagement role is enabled to restore access to the User Settings page. If the user has lost access to other functions, review and re-add the necessary roles as needed.
