Tote Checker
To check if a tote is assigned to an order, please do the following:
Managing totes is an essential aspect of stock and order control in Mintsoft. It includes overseeing barcode functionality, addressing tote requirements, and solving common issues that might arise during the picking and packing processes.
Within Mintsoft click Picking & Packing then Overview.
Next, click Tote Checker.
Select the Warehouse.
Enter the Tote Barcode.
Finally, click Go.
Additionally, the Tote Checker can be used not only to confirm assignments but also to view the items stored in a tote. This helps in efficiently managing stock and resolving potential errors during order processing.
If you have totes stuck against invoiced orders and cannot unassign them via Tote Checker, please speak with the Mintsoft support team or raise a support ticket. Additionally, you cannot unassign totes assigned to orders in a PICKED status.
As a workaround, you can input a placeholder value when prompted for a tote barcode if totes are not being actively utilized in your operations. Efficient tote management can also be ensured by regularly clearing filled totes and reusing them for new orders.
