The Sub-Clients module lets a client user view and manage data across multiple sub-client accounts from one master login. This is useful for fulfilment centres managing several brands under a single parent company. You will need the Sub-Clients module enabled on your Access Mintsoft account before you begin.
What are sub-clients?
Note: If you are looking for Sub Clients regarding courier labels, please review the Client Courier Label article.
The Sub-Clients module does not support stock or product sharing between sub-clients. Each sub-client must also have its own separate 3PL invoice. The module lets a client user view and manage data across multiple sub-clients under one main (master) account.
This setup is especially useful for fulfilment centres managing multiple brands that operate under a single parent company.
How to set up sub-clients
Follow these steps to set up a master client:
Click Clients then Overview.
Find the client you want to set as the master client.
Click Action and then Edit.
Scroll to the bottom of the page turn the Master to ON.
Next, click Save.
After linking the master client, edit each sub-client account to associate it with the main account:
Click Clients then Overview.
Find the client you want to set as the sub-account, connected to the main client.
Click Action and then Edit.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter the name of the Master into MasterClientID.
Next, click Save.
Those two clients are now linked. For any Client user accounts that you set up against the master client, enable the ClientMaster role. This lets that user see and filter by the underlying client data:
Click Settings then Client User Accounts.
Find the client user.
Click Actions then ManageRoles.
Enable the ClientMaster role.
Click Update.
Any user accounts you set up against the Sub-Clients will only have access to that client's data.
