The Box Packing Label templates would be used when you ship orders that are split across multiple boxes (parcels) and want a per-box label listing what's inside each individual box.
Generate a Box Packing Label Template
When you are picking an order using the barcode verification screen in Mintsoft, it will give you the option to print a Box Packing Label for each verified box.
Go to Orders then click Overview.
Find your order.
Click Actions then click Pick Order.
Against each box is a 'Packing List Box' option.
Select that and it will print out your Label.
Create a custom box packing label template
Custom templates let you control the layout and information shown on your box packing label.
Before you start:
Purchase the Custom Documents module for your account.
Set up Barcode Verification to specify box numbers for packed items
Build your template in Microsoft Word
Open Microsoft Word.
Create a table with two rows and your required number of columns.
Use the first row for column headers (SKU, Name, Quantity).
Use the second row for merge field tags.
Alternatively, you can add #PACKING_TABLE# to your document and configure the customization on the frontend when uploading the template. You can do this by listing the fields you would like on your label in the PackingTableFormat field.
Add merge fields to your template
Click Insert then Quick Parts then Fields.
Select MergeField from the field names list.
Your table must start with TableStart:Packing and end with TableEnd:Packing.
Enter a field name from the Available Merge Fields list below.
Additionally, you can use the Order information tags below to populate other information without a merge table.
Set Format to (none).
Click OK.
Repeat for each required field.
Save your document as a .docx file. Other formats aren't supported.
