Box Packing Rules - Configuration | Mintsoft Help Centre

Box Packing Rules allow warehouse operators to configure customized packaging notes and images to popup during the packing process e.g. when delivering to Tesco and they require orders to be packed in certain boxes and pallet heights you can configure this using the B2B packaging rules.

Per carton packing lists can also set to be generated and stored on the documents tab of the order using these rules.

To use this feature you will need the AdminBoxPackingRules role.

Setup Box Packing Rules

Go to Picking & Packing.
Select Overview.
Then Manage Box Packing Rules.
Click Add New Rule.
Configure the options.
Click Save.

Configuration

Client: Select a Client or leave it as ALL.
Warehouse: Select a Warehouse or leave it as ALL.
Channel: Select a Channel or leave it as ALL.
Condition Type: See below for more information.
Show Packing Notes: See below for more information.
Auto Generate Box Packing Documents: See below for more information.
Priority 1-100 (100 runs first): Controls execution order when multiple rules could apply to the same order. Rules with priority 100 execute first, priority 1 executes last.
Active: This makes the rule active.

Condition Type

AND – All conditions must be true (stricter).
OR – Any condition can be true (more flexible).

Show Packing Notes

This determines whether or not to display packing notes during picking.

If you enable this option you will then see the additional options below appear:

Packing Notes Text.
- This option allows you to enter Packing Notes.
Include Order Packing Notes.
- This option pulls in the order's own packing notes.
Include Product Packing Instructions
- This option pulls in the product packing instructions.
Include Client Packing Notes.
- This option pulls in the client packing notes.
Enable Packing Image 1-3.
- If enabled this gives you a box to upload an image.
