Once an on demand stock take has been created, you can manage it from the Overview page. You can view its configuration and progress, reset it to run the count again, or delete it when it is no longer needed.

You will need the Admin role to manage on demand stock takes.

Note: This feature is currently being beta tested. Check future release notes to see once added to general release.

View on Demand Stock Takes

All on demand Stock Takes are listed on the Overview page alongside any Cycle Count Stock Takes. To view your stock takes:

  1. Go to Stock Take, then click Overview.

  2. Use the Status dropdown to filter the list by New, In Progress, 2nd Counts, or Complete.

View the configuration of a Stock Take

To review the settings used to create a Stock Take:

  1. Go to Stock Take, then click Overview.

  2. Locate the Stock Take you want to review, then click View Config.

The configuration opens in read-only mode. Settings cannot be changed from this view.

  2. Locate the Stock Take you want to check, then click Additional Info.

This shows a breakdown of the stock take and how far through the count you are.

Reset a Stock Take

Resetting a Stock Take clears all count data and returns it to New status, allowing it to be started again from the beginning. To reset a Stock Take:

  1. Go to Stock Take, then click Overview.

  2. Locate the stock take you want to reset, then click Reset.

  3. Confirm the reset.

Important: Resetting a stock take permanently clears all count data, including any counts already logged. This action cannot be undone.

Delete a Stock Take

To permanently remove an on demand Stock Take:

  1. Go to Stock Take, then click Overview.

  2. Locate the stock take you want to remove, then click Delete.

  3. Confirm the deletion.

You can also delete multiple stock takes at once using the Bulk Actions dropdown.

Important: Deleting a stock take permanently removes it and all associated count data, regardless of its current status. This action cannot be undone.
