Activate or Deactivate a Cycle Count Rule
You can turn a cycle count rule on or off without deleting it. To activate or deactivate a rule:
Go to Stock Take, then click Cycle Counts Config.
Locate the rule you want to update.
You can either:
Click the blue Edit button to edit, change active status and save.
Click the grey deactivate button or the green activate button to directly change the status without the need to open the config via the edit button.
Edit a Cycle Count Rule
To update an existing cycle count rule:
Go to Stock Take, then click Cycle Counts Config.
Locate the rule you want to edit, then click the blue Edit button.
Update the relevant settings, then click Save.
Delete a Cycle Count rule
To permanently remove a Cycle Count rule:
Go to Stock Take, then click Cycle Counts Config.
Locate the rule you want to remove, then click the red Delete button.
Confirm the deletion.
Important: Deleting a cycle count rule permanently removes it. If you want to stop a rule from generating stock takes temporarily, deactivate it instead.
View the progress of a Stock Take
To see a breakdown of the counting progress for a generated Stock Take:
Go to Stock Take, then click Overview.
Locate the Stock Take you want to check, then click the blue Additional Info button.
This shows a breakdown of the Stock Take and how far through the count you are. This is live and updates without the need to refresh.
