Reactive replenishment automatically moves orders to Awaiting Replen status when stock is allocated from ReplenOnly locations. If you no longer want to use this function, follow these steps to stop using it, unallocate affected orders, move stock out of replenishment locations, and change location types. You'll need Admin access to Clients and Warehouses.
Important: This setting stops the Awaiting Replen order flow and prevents reactive replenishment tasks from being created.
Before you start
Before you stop using reactive replenishment, ensure you:
Have Admin access to Clients and Warehouses.
Plan for downtime: orders in Awaiting Replen status will pause until reprocessed.
Identify all ReplenOnly locations in your warehouse.
Contact Support first if you're using Proactive Replenishment.
Unallocate orders with stock from replenishment locations
Any orders that have stock allocated from the replenishment locations must be unallocated before you turn off the toggle.
Go to Orders then click Order Overview.
Filter Order Status to New, Picked, and Awaiting Replen.
Select all orders on the list by selecting the checkbox next to the Action column.
Select Unallocate Stock from Bulk action and click Go.
Note: Orders in Awaiting Replen status are created when stock is allocated from ReplenOnly locations. These orders will not progress once you disable the toggle and must be unallocated and reprocessed.
Turn off the replenishment toggle
This setting is per client. If you have multiple clients using replenishment, repeat this step for each client.
Go to Client Overview page.
Click Action then click Edit.
Click the Defaults tab.
Turn off Use AWAITINGREPLEN Order Status For Replen Only Locations.
Click Save.
Move stock out from replenishment locations
You need to book all stock out from the replenishment locations.
Once all stock has been moved out from Mintsoft, you can change the location type on the locations to a non-replen location type, such as from Replen only to Pick Bin.
Change location types
If you have more than 10 locations to amend the location type, follow the bulk update process below.
Download locations list
Navigate to Warehouse then click Manage Warehouse.
Select your warehouse then click Locations.
In the Locations page, use the Location Type filter dropdown and select ReplenOnly to show only locations with ReplenOnly location type.
Click the Bulk CSV Export button at the top of the Locations page.
Amend the CSV file
Amend the CSV to match the template required to update. You can download the required template from Warehouse, then Extras, then Upload Locations.
The first column in the exported file is the INTERNAL_LOCATION_ID column.
The INTERNAL_LOCATION_ID column must be populated with the existing values to ensure locations are updated rather than created as new.
Update the LocationType column to your desired pickable type, such as Pick Bin.
Upload the amended file
Upload the amended file via Warehouse, then Extras, then Upload Locations.
Book stock back into the system
Book all the stock back into the system in the old locations.
Reprocess orders that need stock
Navigate to Orders then click Back orders.
Select an order.
Select Reprocess from Bulk action and reprocess all orders.
Process orders as normal
Process orders as normal.
Note: Reactive replenishment tasks will automatically complete as stock moves out of ReplenOnly locations. If you continue to see open replenishment tasks after completing these steps, contact Mintsoft Support to bulk-complete them.
Verify changes
After completing all steps, verify that:
No orders remain in Awaiting Replen status.
All ReplenOnly locations have been changed to pickable types.
Process a test order to ensure normal allocation works.
If you need any additional support with this, speak with the Mintsoft support team or raise a support ticket.
