How to Troubleshoot and Configure FedEx Shipments in Mintsoft

If you are receiving the following error (Unable to Create Shipment:Notification no. 0 Severity: ERROR Code: 1000 Message: Authentication Failed Source: prof) when generating a shipment for FedEx, it could be because of one or more of the following:


Common Causes:

  • The FedEx integration is missing the Key or Password.

  • The FedEx integration has the wrong Key or Password.

  • If these details have been changed, please make sure this is updated on the integration.

  • If Test Credentials have been entered on the FedEx Integration, make sure Test Mode is enabled.

  • If Live Credentials, make sure Test Mode is disabled.

  • The Phone Number is missing from one of the following places:

    • Order Address Details.

    • Warehouse Contact Details.

    • (3PL Only) Client Contact Details.


Steps to Resolve:

  1. Verify that all integration credentials (Key, Password, Account Number, and Meter Number) are correct.

  2. Ensure that Test Mode is enabled if Test Credentials are being used.

  3. Check required fields, such as the phone number, and provide any missing information.

  4. Save the changes and retry the shipment generation process.
