You may see error code 1000 when generating a FedEx shipment. This error indicates an authentication problem with your FedEx integration. This article explains the common causes and how to resolve them.

Common causes
Error code 1000 typically occurs for one of the following reasons:
Integration credentials
Your FedEx integration is missing the Key or Password.
Your FedEx integration has the wrong Key or Password.
Your credentials have been changed but not updated in the integration.
Test mode settings
Test credentials have been entered but Test Mode is not enabled.
Live credentials have been entered but Test Mode is still enabled.
Missing phone numbers
The phone number is missing from the Order Address Details.
The phone number is missing from the Warehouse Contact Details.
The phone number is missing from the Client Contact Details (3PL only).
Resolve the error
To resolve error code 1000, follow these steps:
Click Connect, then click Courier Integrations.
Select your FedEx integration, then click Edit.
Verify your integration credentials are correct. Check your Key, Password, Account Number, and Meter Number match your FedEx account details.
Check your Test Mode setting matches your credentials. If you're using test credentials, turn on Test Mode. If you're using live credentials, turn off Test Mode.
Check the phone number is present in all required locations. You need a phone number in your Order Address Details, Warehouse Contact Details, and Client Contact Details (3PL only).
Click Save.
Generate your FedEx shipment again.
Important: If you've recently changed your FedEx credentials, you must update them in your Mintsoft integration for shipments to process successfully.
