Overview

The Orders Overview page provides multiple ways to locate specific orders. You can use the search box for text-based searching, apply dropdown filters to narrow results by status, channel, or warehouse, and use date range filters to find orders from specific periods. This article explains how to use both search attributes and filter options to quickly find the orders you need.

Using the search box

The search box on the Orders Overview page works in two ways: general search and advanced search with attributes.

General search (without a prefix) searches across multiple fields and provides partial matches for:

  • Order Number.

  • External Order Reference.

  • Postcode.

  • First Name.

  • Last Name.

  • Company Name.

  • Email.

  • Tracking Number.

  • Order ID (if numeric, exact match).

  • Batch ID (if numeric, exact match).

Simply type your search term into the search box to search across all these fields at once.

Using advanced search attributes

You can use specific search attributes to find exact matches for particular types of information. The prefix must be at the start of your search text, immediately followed by a colon with no spaces. Enter the value exactly as it appears on the order or product.

Available search attributes

The attributes listed below can be utilised for searching. Please note the colon is required:

  • sku:

  • batch:

  • serial:

  • ordernumber:

  • tracking:

Only one attribute can be used at a time for searching. These must be exact matches, so you need to search for the full SKU, Tracking Number, or Serial Number.

Example searches

  • sku:ProductA

  • serial:12345

  • tracking:MS123456789GB

To use these search options, click Orders, then click Overview and use the search box to enter one of these attributes.

Using filter options

The Orders Overview page provides multiple filters to help you narrow down your order list. Filters work alongside the search box, allowing you to combine both methods.

Dropdown filters

  • Order Status - Filter orders by status (New, Picking, Packed, Despatched, etc.).

  • Channel - Filter by sales channel (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Manual, etc.).

  • Courier Service - Filter by specific courier service.

  • Courier - Filter by courier provider.

  • Warehouse - Filter by warehouse location.

  • Country - Filter by destination country.

  • Tracking Status - Filter by tracking status.

Date filters

  • From Date / To Date - Filter orders by date range.

  • Required Despatch Date - Filter by required despatch date.

Tag filters

  • Include Tags - Multi-select to show only orders with specific tags.

  • Exclude Tags - Multi-select to hide orders with specific tags.

Toggle filters

  • Search Archive - Toggle to include or exclude archived orders.

Combining search and filters

You can use search and filters together to refine your results. For example, you can filter by Order Status and then use the search box to find a specific order number within those filtered results. Mintsoft remembers your last used filters, making it easier to return to your preferred view.

Tip: Use the Reset Filter button to quickly clear all applied filters and return to the full order list.
