The Mobile Reasons page in Settings lets administrators create and manage a list of predefined reasons that warehouse staff can quickly select on the mobile app when carrying out inventory tasks, instead of having to type out a reason each time.
Overview
In order to get to this page, please do the following:
Navigate to Settings.
Then select Mobile Reasons.
Adding a new Mobile Reason
To add a new Mobile Reason, please do the following:
Navigate to Settings.
Then select Mobile Reasons.
At the top of the page is the add section.
Type your Predefined Comment.
Select the Type.
Make the reason Active.
Click Create.
This will then show in the list below.
Mobile Comment Types
You can set up short, reusable reason labels (up to 25 characters each) and assign each one to one of three inventory activity types:
Book Inventory.
When booking stock into the warehouse.
Transfer Inventory.
When moving stock between locations.
Quarantine / Unquarantine / Scrap Inventory.
When quarantining, releasing or scrapping stock.
Each reason can be toggled Active or Inactive, only active reasons appear as options in the mobile app.
