To create order rules, you need the Order Rules module, if you would like to purchase this, please speak with your Account Manager.
The Split Address Line 1 order rule, will automatically split Address Line 1 into Address Line 2 when it exceeds 35 characters. This can be useful as some couriers have character limits on Address Line 1.
Setup
To set up the order rule, please follow the guidelines below:
Go to Settings, Order Rules.
Click Add New Rule.
Set the following or leave them as ALL.
Client
Warehouse
Channel
Set the Action to SplitAddressLine1.
No param or conditions required.
If you want a custom value, enter this in the param field. For example, 20, this will split AddressLine1 when it hits 20 characters.
Save the rule
If you want to split AddressLine1 at a custom value, this will need to be set in the param field.
Minimum Value is 4.
If left blank, default is 35.
