Parcelforce via Royal Mail Integration

This integration enables you to ship parcels with Parcelforce via Royal Mail through Mintsoft.

International Shipments

If you are looking to ship internationally with the new Parcelforce services, or if you have Domestic and International services added to a brand new account seperate to our Royal Mail via Intersoft connection then you will need to integrate as below.

Please speak to your Royal Mail account manager about obtaining the below details to use this integration.

Note: This will go through Parcelforce via Royal Mail, referred to as Sapient.

Prerequisite - Royal Mail Online Business Account

Before Mintsoft can set up the integration, you must:

  1. Have your Royal Mail posting location reference (a numeric code starting with 9)


Request Integration Setup

The Mintsoft Support team wil set up your Parcelforce integration. To request setup:

  1. Gather the following information:

    • The address for the shipping location from which the goods are dispatched for this Parcelforce account.

    • Your Parcelforce/Royal Mail account number.

    • Registered email address for your online business account (OBA).

    • Registered Billing Postcode

    • Your Royal Mail posting location

  2. Speak with the Mintsoft team by starting a conversation with us.

  3. Reference "Parcelforce Integration" as the subject.

  4. Include all the information above in the conversation.

Note: There's an extra charge for using the Parcelforce via Royal Mail integration, please contact your customer success manager or account manager for more information.


Configuring the Service Codes

Extra Code 1- Notifications.

Example- SMS;EMAIL

Extra Code 3- SafeDrop

Example- Driver Choice

Extra Code 7- Enhanced Compensation

Compensation code value passed directly to the courier.
