Configure dimension settings
DPD NL calculates parcel volume using height Γ length Γ width in cubic centimetres (cmΒ³). The system obtains dimensions from multiple sources in priority order.
Dimension priority order
The system uses the first available dimension source:
Rework dimensions (highest priority). If rework items exist with shipping boxes, dimensions come from the pending rework item table using height, length, and depth (as width).
Please ensure the Is Shipping Box is ticked for the Rework Items you want to use.
ExtraCode4 from courier service code mapping. If no rework dimensions exist, the system checks the ExtraCode4 field in the format "height;length;width".
Product dimensions. If neither of the above are available, it uses the maximum height, depth (as length) and width from all products in the order.
Default fallback. If no dimensions are available from any source, it defaults to 10Γ10Γ10 cm.
Tip: To ensure accurate shipping costs, configure dimensions at the rework level or in the courier service code mapping before relying on product dimensions.
