The warehouse map displays all aisles, shelves, and bays within a warehouse, organised by zone. Each shelf uses colour coding to show stock levels at a glance. You need Administrator View Locations permission to access the warehouse map.
Understanding the map layout
The warehouse map is organised hierarchically:
Zones appear as main tabs at the top.
Aisles appear as nested tabs within each zone.
Bays are displayed as columns across the table.
Shelves are displayed as rows down the table.
For warehouses with many bays, the table may extend beyond your screen width. Use horizontal scrolling to view all bays in an aisle.
Understand the colour coding
Warehouse map colours
When viewing the warehouse map, shelves are colour-coded:
Green: No stock is held in any location on the shelf.
Yellow: Some locations on the shelf contain stock (partial stock).
Red: All locations on the shelf contain stock.
Note: A location is considered "in use" when it contains undispatched stock. The colour coding helps you quickly identify shelf capacity across your warehouse.
Interact with the map
Click on any shelf cell to open a popover showing all locations on that shelf. The popover displays:
Location name
Location type
A View Contents button (only appears if the location contains stock)
Click the View Contents button to open a detailed modal showing all stock items in that location.
Location view colours
The colour coding differs when viewing individual locations. To view locations:
Click Warehouse then click Manage Warehouses.
Click Locations against the required warehouse.
In the location view (accessed via Warehouse > Manage Warehouses > Locations):
Green tick (InUse column): The location currently holds undispatched stock.
Red X (InUse column): The location is empty (no stock).
Note: The InUse status is based on whether the location contains any undispatched stock items.
Note: Deleted locations will still appear on the warehouse map.
View the warehouse map
Click Warehouse then click Manage Warehouses.
Click View Map against the warehouse you want to view.

Shelf sorting order
Each warehouse has a Reverse Shelf Sorting on Warehouse Map setting that controls how shelves are displayed:
When disabled (default): Shelves are sorted from bottom to top, with bay labels at the bottom of the table.
When enabled: Shelves are sorted from top to bottom, with bay labels at the top of the table.
To change this setting:
Click Warehouse then click Manage Warehouses.
Click Edit against the warehouse you want to modify.
Enable or disable Reverse Shelf Sorting On Warehouse Map.
Click Update.
Troubleshooting
Error: "We're sorry, a problem has occurred"
This error appears when some locations in your warehouse don't have names. All locations must have names to view the warehouse map.
To fix this issue:
Click Warehouse then click Manage Warehouses.
Click Locations against the affected warehouse.
Find locations without names, click Actions then click Edit.
Add a name to each location.
Click Update.
Once all locations have names, you'll be able to view the warehouse map.
Map is too wide to view
For warehouses with many bays, the map table may extend beyond your screen width. Use your browser's horizontal scroll bar or trackpad to scroll left and right to view all bays.
