Warehouse stock feed rules allow you to send combined stock levels from multiple warehouses to your order channels, such as BigCommerce or Shopify. This ensures your channels display accurate stock availability across all your locations. This article explains how to create and configure these rules.
Set up a warehouse stock feed rule
To create a warehouse stock feed rule, follow these steps:
Click Products, then click Extras.
Click Warehouse Stock Feed Rule, then click Add.
(3PL only) Select the Client you want to apply the rule to.
Select the Connect Type for your integration.
Set Channel to a specific connection, or choose All to apply the rule to every connection for the selected Connect Type.
Select a Product to target a single SKU, or leave as All to apply the rule to every product.
Use the Warehouses tree to select one or more warehouses. Expand the tree and tick the checkboxes next to each warehouse you want to include.
Click Save.
The rule will now combine stock levels from all selected warehouses and send the total to your specified channel.
Note: You don't need to modify the warehouse selection in your order integration. This rule only affects the stock feed quantity sent to the channel during stock synchronisation. It doesn't change which warehouse orders are allocated to.
Find your Connect Type value
The Connect Type must match the platform your integration uses. To find the correct Connect Type value:
Click Orders then Overview.
Click Actions then Details against an order that imported from the integration you want to map (Shopify, Amazon, etc).
Click Histroy then the Connect tab.
Make note of the value shown in the Type field.
Select the matching Connect Type when creating your rule.
Common Connect Types
Integration | Connect Type value |
Amazon (orders) | AmazonSPAPI |
Shopify | Shopify |
BigCommerce | BigCommerce |
PrestaShop | PrestaShop |
Note: Some integrations may have multiple Connect Types. Always verify the exact value from your orders.
Understanding Channel and Product options
Channel field
When you set Channel to All, the rule applies to every connection of the selected Connect Type. For example, if you have three Shopify stores and set Channel to All with Connect Type as Shopify, the rule will apply to all three stores.
When you select a specific channel, the rule only applies to that single connection.
Product field
When you leave Product as All, the rule applies to every product in your system. The combined stock from selected warehouses will be sent for all products.
When you select a specific product, the rule only applies to that single SKU.
