Enable weekend shipping
If you ship and manifest at weekends, you can enable weekend shipping in Customer Account Settings. Without this enabled, any weekend shipments appear on Monday's manifest. Mintsoft sends eligible orders to the courier, who then creates the manifest and adds the orders to it. Enabling ShipOnSaturday and ShipOnSunday creates separate manifests for orders dispatched on Saturdays and Sundays, respectively.
Click Settings then Customer Account Settings.
Click the Shipping tab.
Turn on ShipOnSaturday and/or ShipOnSunday based on the days you dispatch shipments.
Click Save.
Note: Changing the ShipOnSaturday or ShipOnSunday setting partway through the day can cause inconsistencies. Orders dispatched before the change may appear on Monday's manifest, while those dispatched afterward may appear on the weekend manifest. To avoid this, enable or disable these settings before the weekend begins.
Set up holiday periods
Use the holiday settings feature to enter periods when couriers won't collect from you or when you won't dispatch orders.
Click Settings then Holidays.
(3PL Only) Select the Client or keep it as ALL.
Select the Date of the holiday.
Enter a Comment (for example, Easter Bank Holiday or May Bank Holiday).
Click Create.
Note: If you try to create a courier shipment on a holiday date, the system automatically attempts to create a shipment on your next working day.
Bank holiday courier requests
Many couriers don't allow you to create API shipments with a collection date of a bank holiday. You need to set up holiday days if you want to create shipments during these periods.
Note: The holiday settings currently inform NOTHS and Amazon only of the holiday period and adjust expected despatch dates accordingly. This ensures late despatches don't affect your despatch metrics.
