Overview
You can create barcoded labels for your totes to support mobile picking workflows. This guide explains how to generate labels using the default template or create custom templates to meet your specific requirements.

Create and print tote labels using the default template
The default template generates labels at 100 x 50MM.
Click Warehouse then click Extras.
Click Tote Label Generator.
Select the template you want to use.
Enter or paste your tote or trolley IDs, separated by space, comma, line break, or semi-colon.
Select the number of labels per ID.
Click Generate.
Create a custom tote label template - Optional
Important: To create custom tote label templates, you must have the Custom Documents module, available as an additional paid feature.
Create the template in Microsoft Word
Tip: To access a Tote Label Template that you can use as a starting point, please download the document provided at the end of this article.
Open Microsoft Word then click the Mailings tab.
Click Start Mail Merge then click Labels.
Select your label manufacturer from the Label Vendors drop-down.
Select the Product Number then click OK.
Click the Insert tab then click Quick Parts.
Click Field then select MergeField from the Field names drop-down.
In the Field Name box, type the name you require. You can use these values:
ID
Image:ID
Image:ToteID
Image:CODE128
Image:ID_LABEL
Image:ToteID_LABEL
Image:CODE128_LABEL
Image:EAN
Image:UPC
Image:ID_QR
Image:NAME_QR
Image:SKU_QR
Image:EAN_QR
Image:UPC_QR
Image:ID_SMALL
Image:NAME_SMALL
Choose (none) as the Format.
Click OK.
Align the text to your preference (left, centre, or right).
Enter a new line and repeat steps 5 to 9 to add additional fields.
Once you've created the label, click the Mailings tab then click Update Labels.
Save the Word document as DOC or DOCX.
Upload the custom template to Mintsoft
Click Settings then click Label / Document Templates.
Click Add New Label Template.
(3PL only) Select the client or keep as ALL.
Set the Type to Tote.
Set the Paper Size.
Click Choose File and upload your document.
Enter a Name for the template.
Click Add.
Tip: Once you've uploaded your custom template, it'll appear in the template selection drop-down when you generate tote labels.
