Overview

It is easy to bulk upload new product data or update existing product data using the upload tool.

Note: Uploading products in bulk is a background job to support larger uploads. You'll be notified by email when the results are ready to download from the import to save time waiting for the process to finish on the frontend.

Download Template

For ease of use there is a template to download, which we recommend doing regularly as the template can sometimes change when new fields added:

  1. Click Products then Extras.

  2. Click Upload Products then Download Template.

Upload File

Once you have filled in the CSV file, you can upload it to Mintsoft using the steps below:

  1. Within the Upload Product Spreadsheet page, click Choose file.

  2. Browse and select the saved file.

  3. (3PL Only) Select the Client.

  4. Select the Warehouse.

  5. Click Upload.

Update Existing Products

Bulk Update Option: This spreadsheet can also be used to amend product attributes as well as first-time product setup. If you want to use it to amend product attributes just enter the SKU column data and any other field you want to amend for those products. Any other fields left blank will be ignored.

Note: To learn more about updating products in bulk, please review our Product help guide.

Updating discontinued products

If you need to make updates to a Discontinued Product, and you do not wish to make the product active, you must ensure the Discontinued field contains TRUE within the CSV. Leaving this blank will default to FALSE and cause the product to go active again.
