Once you have created bundles, you can turn on a couple of user settings to view bundle information more easily.
The system is set up by default not to show bundles in the Products Overview.
Bundles are sellable items composed of individual components, such as a gift set containing multiple products. The availability of a Bundle is automatically calculated based on the stock levels of its components, and these components can also be sold individually.
Changing Default Bundle Settings
To change default bundle settings:
Click Settings then User Settings.
On the Product Overview Defaults tab, switch these two options to ON:
ShowBundlesInProductOvereviewByDefault.
ShowBundleInfoInProductOverview.
The product overview page will have the Show Bundles toggle set to ON. It will now display bundles by default and show a more detailed stock inventory breakdown.
Editing Bundle Components
Removing or Adding components to a bundle can only be done if the bundle hasn't been used on an order before. If it has been used, please create a new bundle so previous orders are not affected. Bundles can only be edited one by one, you cannot update/ edit bundles in bulk.
Bundle inventory is managed through its components. Mintsoft calculates the availability of a Bundle based on the stock levels of its components. As long as there is sufficient stock for all components, the Bundle SKU remains sellable.
To edit bundle components please do the following:
Click Products then Overview.
Find the Bundle.
Click Actions then Manage Bundle.
To add a product to the bundle, in the Add Product To Bundle section, type the SKU, Quantity and, if required, the % Of Sales Value. In the bottom right, click Add.
To edit a bundle, in the Bundle Items section:
Quantity: Change the Quantity and click Update.
PercentageOfSalesValue: Change the value and click Update.
To remove an item, click Remove on the right.
Note: Please make sure that the percentage you have added to the items adds up to 100% otherwise the % Of Sales Value on order items will not be calculated correctly. For significant changes to a bundle's components or pricing, creating a new bundle is recommended to maintain traceability and preserve historical data.Additionally, if edits to historical orders are necessary, they must be performed manually on each order, as these adjustments cannot be automated through bundle edits.
Export Bundles and Components to CSV
You can use the Bundle Breakdown Report to export the bundle as well as the components into a viewable CSV by following the steps below:
Click Reports then Overview.
Scroll down to the Product Related Reports section.
Click Bundle Breakdown Report.
(3PL Only) Filter by Client in the top right corner.
Then click Bulk Export.
Note: Bulk exports do not include bundle SKUs by default. If you need to include bundles in the export, navigate to the Bundle Breakdown section and use the available export functionality for detailed bundle data.
Reporting on Bundles
