Choose your Evri integration type

Overview of Evri Business and Evri Corporate integrations in Mintsoft, with guidance on which type suits your account and links to each setup guide.

Written by Tom Higgs

Mintsoft supports two Evri (formerly Hermes) integration types: Business and Corporate. Which you need depends on the type of account you hold with Evri. If you are unsure, contact your Evri account manager before setting up — selecting the wrong type will result in authentication errors.

Evri Business

Evri Business (formerly MyHermes) is for standard-volume shippers with an Evri credit account. Pay-as-you-go accounts are not supported.

  • Credentials: No manual API credentials are needed. During setup, you authorise the connection by logging in to your Evri account directly via OAuth. You must complete this step through om.mintsoft.co.uk, even if you normally use a custom portal URL.

  • Cancellations: Shipments cannot be cancelled from within Mintsoft. Log in to the myHermes portal directly to cancel shipments.

  • 3PL: Supports Child Client Mappings, allowing shipments to be branded per client.

Note: You must log in as a Warehouse user through om.mintsoft.co.uk to add and authorise the Evri Business integration. Custom portal URLs cannot be used for the authorisation step.

For full setup steps, see Evri Business Integration.

Evri Corporate

Evri Corporate is for high-volume shippers with a corporate Evri account. Contact your Evri account manager to obtain your API credentials before setting up in Mintsoft.

  • Credentials required: Username, Password, Client ID, and Client Name — all provided by your Evri account manager. You will need the production credentials, not test credentials.

  • Commercial invoices: Auto Generate Commercial Invoice is available as an optional setting during setup.

  • Tracking Events Module: If purchased, this can be enabled during setup. Additional credentials will be required: Auth ID, Auth Secret, and API Key.

  • End of day manifest: Generated directly on the Evri corporate portal, not within Mintsoft.

  • 3PL: Supports Child Client Mappings, allowing shipments to be branded per client.

Note: Evri may ask for Mintsoft IP addresses to whitelist for API access. Mintsoft's standard IP addresses are already whitelisted and no action is needed for these. However, Dynamic IP addresses are not pre-whitelisted — contact Evri to whitelist these if required. See IP addresses and service URLs for the full list.

For full setup steps, see Evri Corporate Integration.

Not sure which type you have?

Contact your Evri account manager to confirm whether your account is Business or Corporate before setting up in Mintsoft. Setting up with the wrong type will not produce an error during setup but will cause authentication failures when generating shipments.
