Location range settings control which warehouse locations are included when a Cycle Count generates a Stock Take. You can count all locations, filter by type or zone, rotate progressively through aisles, or use a pre-defined custom list.
Location range settings are configured when creating or editing a Cycle Count rule. You will need the Admin role to access these settings.

Select a location range type
When creating or editing a Cycle Count rule, select your location range type from the Location Range dropdown. The available options are All, Configurable, Rotating, and Custom List. Selecting a type reveals the relevant sub-fields for that option.
All
Select All to include every location in your warehouse in the generated Stock Take. There are no additional sub-fields to configure for this option.
Configurable
Select Configurable to filter locations by type, zone, or aisle range. Configure the following sub-fields:
Location Types — select one or more location types to filter by, for example Pick or Bulk. Leave unselected to include all location types.
Zone — select a specific warehouse zone to filter locations to. The default is All.
Aisle — select the aisle ordering and filtering. The options are All, A–Z Range, and Z–A Range.
Aisle From / Aisle To — required when an aisle range is selected. Select the start and end aisle to define the range boundaries.
Rotating
Select Rotating to progressively cycle through aisles across successive stock takes. Each generated stock take covers the next set of aisles in sequence, working through your warehouse over time. Configure the following sub-fields:
Location Types — select one or more location types to filter by. Leave unselected to include all location types.
Zone — select a specific warehouse zone to filter locations to.
Number of aisles per Cycle Count — enter how many aisles to include in each generated stock take. The minimum is 1 and the default is 1.
Starting aisle for initial Cycle Count — select the aisle where the first rotation begins. Subsequent stock takes advance from this point and work through your warehouse in sequence.
Sort Order — select A–Z or Z–A to determine the direction aisles are traversed.
Custom list
Select Custom List to use a pre-defined set of specific locations. Configure the following sub-field:
Custom location set — select the pre-defined location set to use. This field is required.
